A kite snaps its string on purpose and flips toward the moon, not caring if it tumbles. Jack Bramble tells a gentle fable about wanting too much and learning what holds you up, best for listeners around six to nine who ask big questions at bedtime. Angus Ferrier reads with a soft Scottish burr, letting the kite's foolishness feel funny and its loneliness feel real. The chapters run about twelve minutes each, with space for a child to think before the next one begins.
